Yuqing Tang

I've moved to Carnegie Mellon University, Robotics Institute as a postdoctoral research fellow working with Prof. Katia Sycara starting in Feb 2012 for one year. You can find my new website here. My research and teaching statements are available upon request.

I am a PhD graduated from the Department of Computer Science at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. I was a member of the agents lab sponsored by Prof Simon Parsons and Prof Elizabeth Sklar.

I am interested in the establishment of social intelligence for a system of agents (pure machine agents or hybrid human-machine agents). In particular, my research focuses on two sub-topics:

interaction and communication mechanisms for intelligent agents, and
multiagent planning using symbolic logics, model checking, stochastic processes, and machine learning approaches.
