"Opportunities for PhD students in Industry"

Is academia the only career path available for Computer Science PhDs? Not true! New York CIty has over 5,000 software and IT companies, and many other companies that hire PhDs, both for reasearch and operational positions. The challenges and the culture are quite a bit different. This talk will focus on the opportunities available for PhDS outside of the university career track.
